Chat is where you work with Aria day to day. Ask questions, attach context, launch skills, edit drafts in Writing canvas, and share the thread with teammates.

Layout

When the open chat belongs to a project, the right rail is Project files. Filter This chat or All in project.

Start a useful conversation

1

Open Chat

Choose Chat or + New under Chats.
2

Be specific

Include audience, channel, and the decision you need. Example:
Surface Series B companies hiring multiple marketing roles on LinkedIn, score fit, and write peer-tone hooks.
3

Attach files when needed

Use the paperclip, or paste a screenshot or copied file into the composer. Limits: up to 5 files, 20MB each.
4

Watch the run

Aria streams progress while skills or research tools work. Open Chat files as artifacts appear.

Edit in Writing canvas

When Aria creates a document:
  1. Open it from Chat files (or Open in canvas).
  2. Edit in Writing canvas — Preview, Versions, Download, and Save sit in the canvas toolbar.
  3. Promote when the draft is ready so it appears under Files.

Share a chat

Hand a thread to an editor or teammate without losing prompts or files.
1

Open Share

In the chat header, choose Share.
2

Add teammates

Invite people already on the brand team by email, or Copy chat link.
3

Collaborate

Shared chats show a Shared badge and the people on the thread. Owners and Editors can manage invites; Members work inside chats they can access.

Invite people to the brand first under Team if they are not listed.

Fork a chat

Branch from any message into a private copy. The original thread is unchanged.
1

Choose a message

Hover a message and choose the branch icon (Fork from here).
2

Continue in the copy

You see a new chat with history through that message. On a phone, you see Forked below Aria; on desktop, you see it as a chip. In History, you see Forked from with the original title and a Forked from here divider.
3

Open the original

Use Forked or Open original when you still have access to the source chat.
Forks of a chat you own stay in the same project. The header keeps the project control, and the Projects page shows Forked from under that chat. Forks of a shared chat are private to you and do not join the owner’s project.

Starter prompts that work well

  • Campaign angle for a launch
  • Positioning audit against named competitors
  • Draft posts in brand voice for LinkedIn or X
  • Market scan for a theme this week

Pinned chats

Tips

  • Point Aria at Brand Brain when voice matters (“use our Brand Brain voice”).
  • Launch configured skills instead of re-explaining multi-step workflows.
  • Prefer one sharp question over a long laundry list.
