Goal

Cut competitor noise to 3–5 actionable signals, refresh the battle-card reframe, and leave with a voice-calibrated brief plus a LinkedIn or X draft.

Best for

Marketing leads who need a shippable brief after a competitor move — not a news recap.

Connectors that power this

This run uses the live Skill Hub skill Competitive intel → content brief (competitive-intel-content-brief).

Setup

  1. Activate Competitive intel → content brief in Skills if it is not already on.
  2. Connect Notion and/or Slack if you want handoff outside Chat.
  3. Know the competitor name and preferred channel (LinkedIn or X).

Run it

1

Open the skill

In Skills, open Competitive intel → content brief. Set competitor, channel, and time window (7d or 30d).

Or steer with the skill prompt

Competitor Acme Corp had moves this week — cut the noise to 3–5 actionable signals, update the battle card reframe, then give me a content brief and linkedin draft in my voice.

Replace Acme Corp and linkedin with your competitor and channel.
4

Edit and store

Open artifacts from Chat files. Edit in Writing canvas. Promote to Files, or push to Notion / Slack.

What good looks like

  • Signal table with source, implication, action, priority
  • Brief sections: positioning, angle, proof points, CTA
  • A social draft in brand voice for the chosen channel

Variations

Competitor Acme Corp changed pricing this week — prioritize signals about packaging and buyer impact, then give me a LinkedIn draft that reframes our value without mentioning their name in the first line.

Summarize the signal table and brief for #marketing in Slack: top 3 signals, the reframe, and the draft post. Keep the Slack message scannable.
